We partnered with BP to create the world’s first social enterprise – a small petrol station in Sydney that employed people with psychiatric disabilities.
Invested our profits back into building a packaging centre in North Ryde to create more meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. It still operates today.
We moved into buying and leasing properties to give disadvantaged people a place to call home. We also provided support to increase independence and become contributing community members
We purchase two failing nursing homes and turn them into state-of-the art Aged Care facilities that still successfully operate today.
We continue to grow and now employ more than 900 experts across 20 communities. We participate in the successful NDIS pilot in the Hunter Valley, growing our industry networks and in-house expertise in preparation for the rollout of the NDIS in 2016.
The NDIS arrives! As champions of choice, we welcome the choice and control it brings for customers. We continue to look at ways we can innovate to fulfil our promise to make a difference putting wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
